We understand that there is an increase of health problems, lack of focus, children not doing as well in school, and lack of physical exercise.  

Our goal is to help you achieve optimal health, develop discipline and focus,  and regain your life. We specialize helping people to improve their health and wellness and develop their mind, body and spirit. For over 40 years, we have been serving the Salt Lake City community offering Chinese martial arts classes including Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes. We offer both Children and Adult Kung Fu classes.

New to Chinese Kung Fu Martial Arts

Kung Fu is an ancient Chinese form of the martial arts; from which many other styles have been derived. It originated in northern China about 3,000 years ago.

At Chung Shing Kung Fu Institute in Master Lu’s Health Center, we teach Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Xing Yi and Ba Gua as taught by Master Cheng Tsang Lu.

Shaolin Kung Fu was initially developed in the Shaolin Buddhist temples as both a form of exercise as well as a form of self-defense, and has been passed down in the traditional manner from master to student for centuries. It incorporates movements from several different animal styles such as tiger, snake, monkey, praying mantis, and other martial art movements.

The Tai Chi, Xing Yi ,Ba Gua we teach are traditional systems of internal martial arts that help the practitioner to focus their mind, body and spirit as a single being. Our classes are open to the public for observation, so we hope you will come and visit us to learn more about how Chinese martial arts can benefit you.
